Originally from Budapest, Hungary, Gabe and his family escaped communist repression during the Hungarian revolution in 1956. After coming to the United States as a refugee, he grew up in Philadelphia and New York. Gabe graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School with honors and later received a bachelor of engineering degree from NYU.

Grateful for the opportunities and freedoms afforded to the Sander's family by being allowed into this great country, Gabe joined the Air Force during the Vietnam War and became a pilot for the US Air Force. He flew C-141 transports throughout South East Asia and the rest of the world. After the war, he continued his flying career with Delta Airlines for 27 years.

Delta L-10-11Having lived in Pennsylvania, New York, California, Georgia, and Massachusetts, Gabe decided to settle on the Treasure Coast in 1987. After flying around the world many times over, Gabe prefers the amenities and lifestyle that are available in our beautiful corner of the world. His hobbies include windsurfing and bicycling.
